The War diary of the US Naval Operating Base Okinawa gives the following details about Typhoon Louise. Eighty three men were killed or missing. LSMR 408 and the following LSMs went aground at some point in the Typhoon: LSM 79, 137, 141, 144, 170, 200, 273, 307, 344, 356, 361, 365, 437, 444, 458, 465, and 468.
