Quit Fighting Among Yourselves Over Interpertations Of God's Words and Enjoy the Life God Intended For You... This Simple Song Says It All...'The Ten Commandments' By STATLER BROTHERS"
(Written by Lew DeWitt)
Moses led God's children out
To find the promised land
And on the way he stopped each day
And looked to Heaven and.
Asked God for help as he
Could not withstand the task alone
And then one day he looked away
And thereby lay a stone.
God said write upon this stone
These words I say to you
And if you all obey My rules
I'll see you safely through.
God opened Heavens doors
And then He guided Moses hand
And said go and tell My children
These are My commands.
Go and climb that mountain Moses
Climb that mountain now and pray
Climb that mountain now and tell us
What our Lord has had to say
Thou shall have no gods before Me
Is My first command
And thou shall not make any graven image
By thy hand.
Thou shalt not take My name in vain
And thou wilt guiltless be
Remember thou to keep the Sabbath day
Alone for Me.
Honor thy father and thy mother
And thou shall not kill
Thou shall not commit adultery
And thou shall not steal.
Love thy neighbor as thyself
And show thy neighbor peace
Covet not thy neighbor's house
Nor anything that's his.
Go and climb that mountain Moses
Climb that mountain now and pray
Climb that mountain now and tell us
What our Lord has had to say.
Moses showed these words of God
To all the children there.
They pulled up stakes and headed out
To find the Promised Land.
That Moses had described to them
And told of comforts there
The children of oppression
Thought they'd not find anywhere.
But they were soon to part from him
And push alone awhile
For it was never meant for him
To walk that final mile.
The children cried as we must go on
Moses without you
Then talk to God just one more time
And tell us what to do.
Go and climb that mountain Moses
Climb that mountain now and pray
Climb that mountain now and tell us
What our Lord has had to say.

Go and climb that mountain Moses
Climb that mountain now and pray
Climb that mountain now and tell us
What our Lord has had to say...... .... THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
My View Of Religion
I have mixed emotions concerning religion. Religious beliefs are an explanation for a person's life. My mind tells me there is a God, but it doesn't tell me what God is. I was brought up in a Christian home and was taught the Christian values. There is no doubt in my mind that for a society to stand, it must have some moral values. A stable society must recognize the difference between Good and Evil.
The values of the old Testament Bible, The Golden Rule and the Ten Commandmants are very good values to live by. An acceptance of a God must be based on faith, for a person will never meet God except within their mind.
The sad thing about Religion is the violence that it causes. For some reason mankind cannot approach Religion in a logical or reasonable manner. The Old Testament is the Bible for three Religions. Jewish (Hebrew), Christian, and Moslem (Islam). The Jews (Hebrews) are still awaiting for the Messiah. The Christians have their Messiah, Jesus, and the Moslem have their Messiah, Mohammed.
These Religions, which have the same God and Bible, have been fighting and killing each other for centuries. They also have fighting and killing within their churches. When it comes to Religion the thin line between Love and Hate is constantly being crossed. When this line is crossed there is always violence.
I have lived eighty years, and I have not found a reason or purpose for my life. I only know, my Life has been a happy one. I am glad that I lived, but what happens to me when I die? I have no idea. There is one Thought, that I and Others have in Common, and that fighting among Ourselves for 2000 years plus, over Ideas or Words, is not the Answer....To Peace .... ~ God's Little Helper The Land Belongs To God

Come Sail Away - Midi
Written by dennis deyoung
I'm sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea
I've got to be free free to face the life that's ahead of me
On board I'm the captain, so climb aboard
We'll search for tomorrow on every shore
And I'll try, oh Lord, I'll try to carry on
I look to the sea, reflections in the waves spark my memory
Some happy, some sad
I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had
We live happily forever so the story goes
But somehow we missed out on that pot of gold
But we'll try best that we can to carry on
A gathering of angels appeared above my head
They sang to me this song of hope and this is what they said
They said, come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
I thought that they were angels but to my surprise
They climbed aboard their starship and headed for the skies
Singing, come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
