It's A Sad Day For Us We have just been informed that Jack and Judy Held will end their tour of duty in Omaha on September 12 the last day of our reunion. They committed to 2 years supervising the restoration of the 45 and now will be going to Florida to work on the restoration of a WW II Victory Ship in Tampa. They have done a wonderful job for us and we will be forever grateful for their work. They advise me that if you have any items to donate for display aboard they must receive them by August 1, as the museum will take charge after that. The museum is seeking a replacement for them to oversee the upkeep of the ship.......Once again the Oklahoma SandScrapers are sorry to see them go, but we wish them every success in their new project.
