Hi Larry,
We mailed a check to you today for $30.00 for this year and next year.
We can't wait for the next Alligator Alley! Jim, you are the very best! Each issue just gets better than the last. Also, we want to let you both know how much we like the association's new website. Very nice!
Thank you both for everything you do! It is much appreciated!
Smooth Sailing,
Dale and Jennifer

World War II Remembering Iwo Jima 19 February 1945 "LSM 206 and The Sands of Iwo Jima" LSM 216 continued to have a hard time getting rid of its valuable cargo. After the first abortive attempt, it retracted and beached again about 200 yards to the south, where a foot reconnaissance showed that tanks would also bog down. The LSM, in the meantime, had broached on the beach and it took 30 minutes for it to retract the second time. At 1245, it beached on YELLOW 1, but the sand was too soft, so it withdrew for the third time, and at 1300 made a final try and was successful in discharging its vehicles. | Chapter III

And so, My Imaginative Friends Look Very Close What Do You See? Come Sail Away With Me Come Sail Away - Midi
Written by dennis deyoung
I'm sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea
I've got to be free free to face the life that's ahead of me
On board I'm the captain, so climb aboard
We'll search for tomorrow on every shore
And I'll try, oh Lord, I'll try to carry on
I look to the sea, reflections in the waves spark my memory
Some happy, some sad
I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had
We live happily forever so the story goes
But somehow we missed out on that pot of gold
But we'll try best that we can to carry on
A gathering of angels appeared above my head
They sang to me this song of hope and this is what they said
They said, come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
I thought that they were angels but to my surprise
They climbed aboard their starship and headed for the skies
Singing, come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
Come sail away, come sail away
Come sail away with me
