These old photos were taken in Kure, Japan - 1945. The defeated Japanese nation would rise from the ashes of defeat and become a great nation again.

The young children would grow up in an occupied country, but would enjoy a better life and more freedom as an adult than his/her parents.

The Song, Trio, Reflects My Thoughts During This Time In History. The Good (USA), The Bad (Japan), and The Ugly (I Will Leave To The Webpage Surfer To Decide). Like the General, William Tecumseh Sherman, said, "War Is Hell."

Imagine
John Lennon (1940 - 1980)

Imagine there's no heaven,
It's easy if you try,
No hell below us,
Above us only sky,
Imagine all the people
living for today...

Imagine there's no countries,
It isn't hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...

Imagine no possessions,
I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer,
but I'm not the only one,
I hope some day you'll join us,
And the world will live as one.
